The chemical is marketed under brand names such as Depas, Pasaden, Etizola, Etilaam, and Sedekopan.
The difference between Etizolam and other benzodiazepines is that the benzene ring is replaced with a thiophene ring which makes Etizolam a thienodiazepine.
